STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Apply design principles to 2-D and 3-D animation projects.
II. Demonstrate proficiency in using 2-D and 3-D animation software to create realistic animations.
III. Demonstrate proficiency in using sound editing software to record and edit sound clips, narration, and music.
IV. Demonstrate proficiency in video capturing and video editing.
V. Demonstrate proficiency in combining sound with animations/video.
TOPICAL OUTLINE:
I. Capture video via digital camera and through VHS.
II. Edit and arrange video clips, still images, and animations to create video project.
III. Use transitions and effects in producing video project.
IV. Create 2-D and 3-D animations.
V. Record sound from multiple sources.
VI. Edit, mix, and analyze digital audio.
VII. Combine sound with animation and/or video.
