STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Demonstrate technical ability in using various media to complete assignments.
II. Utilize the computer to facilitate production and layout.
III. Create well-designed comic characters, panels and pages based on the elements and principles of design.
IV. Create comic illustrations appropriate for each assignment following size and format specifications.
V. Explore various techniques before completing assignments using each medium.
VI. Verbally articulate design choices.
VII. Participate verbally in critiques of other students¿ work while analyzing concepts and designs.
