STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Demonstrate mastery of several black and white and color illustration techniques.
II. Create compositions based on the elements and principles of design.
III. Develop the content of editorial illustrations so they visually communicate multiple levels of meaning.
IV. Follow size, format and layout specifications for each assignment.
V. Create illustrations that are appropriate for the client`s needs and meet the client¿s specifications.
VI. Demonstrate an understanding of color theory when critiquing and creating illustrations.
VII. Verbally and visually present illustrations in a professional manner.
VIII. Analyze illustrations articulately in presentations and critiques.
