STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Demonstrate technical ability in using various color media to complete assignments
II. Create well-designed compositions based on the elements and principles of design
III. Create illustrations appropriate for each assignment following size and format specifications.
IV. Demonstrate an understanding of color theory when creating color illustrations.
V. Prepare illustrations for a professional presentation, including matting or mounting.
VI. Present illustrations in an articulate manner.
VII. Participate verbally in critiques.
VIII. Explore various techniques of each medium before completing the assigned illustration.
