 STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
 
 I.      Apply storyboarding, scripting, and ability to work using a client¿s description in video pre-production. (I)
 II.     Demonstrate correct set-up and operation of digital camcorders in field and studio environments. (II)
 III.    Apply advanced video recording concepts and techniques.(II)
 IV.     Demonstrate ability to correctly place and use microphones in a production using camera mics or external mics. (II)
 V.      Apply advanced aesthetic concepts used in videotape production. (II)
 VI.     Create production environments using talent, accessories/clothing, and make-up. (III)
 VII.    Diagram and stage studio productions and field productions. (III)
 VIII.   Compare and contrast synthetic environments, including virtual reality settings. (III)
