  Course Description:Acquaints students with the processes of a vector drawing program on the computer. Students learn how to use the tools to create digital artwork that can be used in web design, print media and digital screen design.

 STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
 
 I.      Use Adobe Illustrator as the software to generate computer graphics. (I)

 III.    Examine the Adobe Illustrator application and determine relationships with other multimedia applications. (VI)
 IV.     Demonstrate a basic knowledge of vocabulary, skills and the technology required to design and utilize Adobe Illustrator with emphasis upon the drawing tools. (III) (VII) (IV) (VIII)
 V.      Demonstrate usage of design principles by applying them in their arrangement of text elements. (V)
