STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Create correct cutting tool speed and feed calculations for various turning and rotary tools on the Multi-axis lathe.
2. Demonstrate programming and proper use of cutter compensation for the Multi-axis lathe.
3. Demonstrate proper use of controller system coordinates in the Multi-axis lathe environment.
4. Demonstrate proper use of crash detection software for Multi-axis machine.
5. Write G language program (G-code) and create multiple parts in a Multi-axis lathe.
6. Operate Computer-aided Design and Computer-aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software to program a Multi-axis lathe.
7. Demonstrate proper program management with CAD/CAM programs for the Multi-axis lathe.
