Course Description: | Covers both the production and surfacing of three-dimensional geometry in a self-paced setting. Issues will be covered related to the production of wire frames, solids, surfaces, the joining of surfaces, joining of solids, managing construction planes, sweeping, rotating, and controlling parameter settings. A familiarity with Mastercam, CNC programming techniques, and CNC operations is recommended. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Demonstrate effective file management.
II. Demonstrate 3D construction management techniques.
III. Produce 3D wireframe geometry.
IV. Produce 3d solids utilizing the extrude, revolve, sweep, and loft commands.
V. Produce 3D surfaces utilizing the loft, coons, ruled, revolve, and sweep commands.
VI. Perform manipulations and maneuvering of 3D geometry within 3D space.
