STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Measure and size rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. either up or down. (I, II, III)
II. Understand the basic re-tipping and re-pronging procedures. (IV)
III. Demonstrate the ability to do a 1/2 or full re-shanking on a ring. (V)
IV. Complete simple chain repairs and solders. (III)
V. Identify and implement the appropriate clean up and refurbishing procedures after the repair work is completed. (I-VI)
VI. Demonstrate good craftsmanship on all work. (I-VI)
