Course Description: | Creates an opportunity for students to learn to select, analyze, and make online trades using technology. Students will learn to use programs to screen and track selected trades. Students will be able to trade securely worldwide on the Internet using wireless and non-wireless providers. Students will apply the fundamentals in setting-up a secure connection to exchange sensitive information and encrypt that information using VoIP. Excel will be used in order to import and track live stock information for analysis. Students will learn different trading strategies and program those strategies to expedite investments. There will be the opportunity to practice the skills by competing against others via online paper trades and using Access to track completed trades. |
