STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Provide the design student an overview of the practical design software used by numerous design firms and related businesses in the industry today. (I, IV)
II. Become familiar with popular kitchen and bath design software used by major cabinet manufacturers and space planners in the industry (I)
III. Become familiar with one of several open office systems furniture manufacturers software for development of design solutions, specifications, and pricing. (II)
IV. Become familiar with the software used by many designers for speedy application and design solution, with 3-D features. (III)
V. Become familiar with software designed for the industry to track clients funds, specifications, purchase proposals, Purchase orders, invoices, point of sale items, and even tax information for Interior Design businesses. (IV)
