STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Develop the ability to create accurate estimates for materials, cost, and time for interior projects (I, II, III)
II. Become familiar with the formulas, short cuts, and charts, designed for use in the interior design industry (I, II, III)
III. Understand the importance of accurate estimates, and how that reflects o the company’s profit and loss (I,II,III)
IV. Develop an understanding of accurate completion dates and the numerous factors that can cause delays in all phases of a project (I, II, III)
V. Verify a sub-contractors estimated figures for a variety of reasons (I, III)
VI. Use architectural drafting skills to communicate with various trades and fabricators to satisfy a clients’ needs ( I, III )
