Course Description: | Teaches the stress reduction and personal growth techniques of relaxation and free painting. Partcipants will paint freely and expressively and begin to understand their personal symbols which arise spontaneously in dreams. An opportunity will be given for processing and interpretation under the guidance of the instructor. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Create personal and expressive art projects in group setting.
2. Recognize that communication between consciousness and the unconscious may be found in the symbolic language of personal art projects.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of this dialectical relationship.
4. Demonstrate increased awarenes brought about by the translationa dn interpretation of this `symbolic` language.
