Course Description: | Covers the theory of operation, installation and maintenance of warm water radiant heating systems in a combination of lecture & lab. Different methods of zoning, controls, piping methods, piping types and system components are discussed. Upon successful completion, students are able to design, install, document, maintain and trouble-shoot all conventional residential warm water, radiant panel heating systems. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Develop fundamental concepts of all types of radiant heating systems
II. Choose the correct boiler for the application
III. Select the proper circulator pump for the radiant heating system
IV. Design a piping arrangement for the radiant
V. Design near boiler piping systems and locate best position for radiant distribution systems
