The student will work on both manual paper forms and computer driven heat load calculations. The student will then analyze the data results from the heat load calculation.

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Indentify the different areas and terms and required data needed for filling out heat load calculations.
2. Gather the necessary data to be used to do a heat load calculation.
3. Calculate the heat load calculations using written manual forms.
4. Calculate the heat load calculations in a computer program using the data listed on manual forms.
5. Analyze and understand the results of the heat transfer calculation.
