Course Description: | Delivering fresh, conditioned air to each register, and returning an equal amount of return air back to the furnace is the key to making any furnace run at peak efficiency. The duct system is often overlooked and not given the attention it deserves when designing a system. It is important to assess a duct system to evaluate heating problems in a home. The student will design a professional duct system that takes into account the heat loss and heat gain, an infiltration of a home. Cad drawing is included to create professional duct designs according to ACCA Manual D guidelines. |
