Course Description: | Provides each student with one or more horses to train. The first part of the semester will deal with establishing the foundation on the horses. The remainder of the semester will be utilized in building the specialized skills. This section will end with the student participating in the HTM Semester Horse Show. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Students will be able to:
II. Put foundation on a horse for the special area that he will be introduced to.
III. Start horse in special area of students choice, ( reining, cutting, roping, etc.)
TOPICAL OUTLINE:
I. Progress will vary due to students emphasis area and direction the student wants to take their horse.
II. Emphasis areas differ and students horses differ in ability and prior training
III. Students will progress at own pace with individual instruction
