  Course Description:Provides instruction and practice in effective communication skills tailored toward foreign-born students interested in careers in the healthcare industry. This course emphasizes increasing speed and accuracy in free and guided conversations, pronunciation drills, cultural discussions, presentation skills, role-playing, and speeches. This class also includes writing skills instruction to engage students in academic research as well as personal reflection.
