Course Description: | Provides skills through lecture and hands-on lab experience in the classroom environment. Topics include patient assistance skills in the home, safety issues & body mechanics. This course is designed to provide home care by assistants who attend to intermediate client medical needs in the home while continuing to provide companionship. This course builds on the knowledge of the homemaker assistant course. |
