It includes the program(s) functions, achievements, goals and documentation methods culminating in the development of a HABS, HAER, or HALS project and submission to the National Park Service for acceptance and archive in the Library of Congress. |

TOPICAL OUTLINE:
I. Describe the history of HABS, HAER, HALS.
II. Demonstrate knowledge of the documentation methodologies utilized in HABS, HAER, HALS.
III. Learn basic drafting skills and the necessity of working as a team on HABS,HAER,HALS projects.
IV. Measure, record field notes, plot points and render measured drawings to HABS,HAER,HALS standards and specifications
V. Learn large format photography techniques
VI. Perform historical research of HABS,HAER,HALS project subject
VII. Demonstrate knowledge of the different tools, materials, and technologies utilized to record historic sites to HABS,HAER,HALS standards.
VIII. Demonstrate knowledge of field safety best practices when participating in HABS,HAER,HALS projects.
IX. Prepare a HABS,HAER,HALS submission to the National Park Service
