  Course Description:Provides the necessary minimum knowledge and skills training for a person to qualify as a non-surf lifeguard. Prepares lifeguard candidates to recognize emergencies, respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and prevent drowning and other incidents. The course also teaches other skills in individual needs to be a professional lifeguard.

 10. Practice spinal stabilization using a backboard.
