 1. Develop a massage environment to best serve individuals with special needs
 2. Demonstrate communication skills important when working with a client who has special needs

 4. Discuss the physiologic mechanisms through which the therapeutic methods of touch work
 5. Explore ways of integrating a variety of therapeutic interventions into a general wellness massage for special populations
