Course Description: | Teaches basic muscle anatomy as it relates to massage as well as the specific hands-on techniques to complete a full body massage. Provides a general history of massage as a healing treatment, its connection to other holistic modalities and its ability to have both a physiological as well as psychological impact on overall health and healing. Swedish massage techniques and strokes are performed and experienced by each student. |
