Includes rimfire cartridges, improved cartridges, and octagon or fluted barrels. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Describe the procedures and setups required to rebarrel rifles that require a coned breech.
II. Describe the procedures and setups required to rebarrel rifles that require a recessed breech.
III. Describe the procedures and setups required to rebarrel rifles that require extractor cuts.
IV. Calculate formulas for cutting octagon or fluted barrels.
V. Describe improved cartridges and how to determine correct headspace for them
VI. Re-barrel a rifle that requires a coned or recessed breech and/or extractor cuts.
