Course Description: | Introduces stockmaking techniques for a bolt action rifle from semi-inletted blanks. The course will cover inletting the barrel and trigger guard, glass bedding, installing grip cap, recoil pad, fore-end tip, swivels, shaping, sanding and finishing. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Design a gunstock.
2. Demonstrate inletting and shaping of a semi-inletted stock blank.
3. Demonstrate the installation of a fore-end tip, grip cap and recoil pad.
