STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Consult with the instructor to select projects/tasks that will be completed to the satisfaction of the instructor.
II. Given performance tests, the student will perform these tasks with a score of 75% or better:
A. Explain aspects of knife design.
B. Discuss various handle materials.
C. Explain and/or demonstrate soldering.
D. Discuss various steels.
E. Explain and/or demonstrate heat treatment.
F. Explain and/or demonstrate polishing.
G. Explain and/or demonstrate Sharpening
