STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Upon completion of this course students shall demonstrate an understanding of blueprint actions. Students in this course will consult with the instructor to select projects/tasks that will be completed to the satisfaction of the instructor. Given performance tests, the student will perform these tasks with a score of 75% or better:
A. Describe specialized tools necessary for blueprint actions.
B. Demonstrate surface grinding.
C. Change the bolt handle.
D. Describe the hidden rear screw.
E. Explain the 2 or 3 position swing safety.
F. Demonstrate lapping of bolt lugs.
G. Reshape the trigger guard.
H. Drill and tap for scope bases.
I. Install custom scope bases/straddle floorplate.
