STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Upon completion of this course students shall demonstrate an understanding of benchmetal and machining skills. Students in this course will consult with the instructor to select projects/tasks that will be completed to the satisfaction of the instructor. Given performance tests, the student will perform these tasks with a score of 75% or better:
A. Explain and/or demonstrate bolt handle alterations.
B. Explain and/or demonstrate low safety modifications.
C. Explain and/or demonstrate drilling and tapping for scope mounts.
D. Explain and/or demonstrate trigger installations.
E. Explain and/or demonstrate magazine and feeding problems.
F. Discuss other related modifications.
