STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Upon completion of this course students shall demonstrate an understanding of handgun repair skills. Students in this course will consult with the instructor to select projects/tasks that will be completed to the satisfaction of the instructor. Given performance tests, the student will perform these tasks with a score of 75% or better:
II. Describe common handgun malfunctions.
A. Explain and/or demonstrate handgun repair procedures.
B. Explain and/or demonstrate disassembly of a handgun.
C. Explain and/or demonstrate assembly of a handgun.
D. Explain and/or demonstrate handgun parts fitting.
E. Explain and/or demonstrate function testing of a handgun.
