Course Description: | Serves as the second of two seminars on conversion of the M1911 pistol. Covers slide tightening and fitting oversized match barrels (conventional, ramped, or compensated) as well as trouble shooting accurized pistols, headspacing, lug engagement, and barrel crowns. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Upon completion of this course students shall demonstrate an understanding of accurizing skills. Students in this course will consult with the instructor to select projects/tasks that will be completed to the satisfaction of the instructor. Given performance tests, the student will perform these tasks with a score of 75% or better:
A. Explain and/or demonstrate slide tightening.
B. Explain and/or demonstrate fitting oversized match barrels (conventional, ramped, or compensated).
C. Explain and/or demonstrate trouble shooting accurized pistols.
D. Explain and/or demonstrate modifications involving headspacing.
E. Explain and/or demonstrate modifications involving lug engagement.
F. Explain and/or demonstrate modifications involving barrel crowns.
