STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Upon completion of this course students shall demonstrate an understanding of checkering skills. Students in this course will consult with the instructor to select projects/tasks that will be completed to the satisfaction of the instructor. Given performance tests, the student will perform these tasks with a score of 75% or better:
A. Explain and/or demonstrate pattern design and layout.
B. Explain and/or demonstrate scribing.
C. Explain and/or demonstrate pattern transfer.
D. Explain and/or demonstrate checkering technique development.
E. Explain and/or demonstrate finishing techniques.
F. Explain and/or demonstrate the use of hand and power tools.
