STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Consult with the instructor to select projects/tasks that will be completed to the satisfaction of the instructor.
II. Given performance tests, the student will perform these tasks with a score of 75% or better:
A. Demonstrate how to set up an ARC welding system safely and effectively.
B. Demonstrate how to set up an oxygen acetylene torch system safely and effectively.
C. Use equipment to effectively cut steel.
D. Describe and demonstrate how to heat metal.
E. Describe and demonstrate how to ARC weld different materials.
