STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. describe and use spatial analysis tools available in ArcView GIS and ArcView Spatial Analyst
II. determine the types and sources of data needed for a precision agriculture project
III. use GIS tools to pre-process data for a precision farming process
IV. define, create, and analyze different types of surfaces using a variety of methods
V. compare different types of agricultural data using normalization and reclassification methods
VI. use query to find relationships within and between data sets
VII. create maps and charts to visualize, interpret and present the analysis results
