Course Description: | Introduce students to an overview of geospatial technology. Students will be introduced to the concepts of spatial thinking and analysis through the exploration of GIS, Remote Sensing, web-based maps and mobile mapping. Emphasis is placed on understanding the fundamental aspects of these technologies and how they are currently being applied across a variety of disciplines. |
