STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Apply The Rules of Golf to tournament operations
A. Demonstrate the use of the PGA / USGA golf rule book to golf events for organizations, businesses, or associations
B. Interpret and apply The Rules of Golf in a competitive tournament environment
II. Demonstrate the fundamentals of calligraphy
A. Apply basic budgeting and accounting skills as they relate to tournament operations
III. Organize and direct golf tournament staff and volunteers
IV. Develop tournament promotion and evaluation materials
V. Incorporate the use of appropriate computer software for tournament operations
VI. Demonstrate golf tournament scoreboard layout and design
