STANDARD COMPETENCIES
1. Demonstrate an understanding of the factors involved in the creation of a web series.
2. Demonstrate ability to identify web series writing parameters, including structure, character creation and themes.
3. Apply web series structure, including the inciting incident, increasing dramatic stakes and cathartic resolution to creation of
an original web series.
4. Demonstrate ability to apply web-specific narrative design principles to an existing web series.
5. Demonstrate ability to develop sustainable concepts and premises for web series.
6. Demonstrate insight and application of format, genre, tone, character creation, story arc and narrative parameters through the creation of
multi-episode web series and the creation of a series bible.
7. Demonstrate understanding of web series business aspects.
