STANDARD COMPETENCIES:

 

 I.      Identify and demonstrate knowledge of procedures and plans for conducting size-ups of existing and potential conditions.

 II.     Identify and demonstrate knowledge of procedures for identification of resources needed to conduct safe and effective operations.

 III.    Identify and demonstrate knowledge of procedures for implementing the emergency response system for vehicle and/or    machinery rescue incidents.

 XII.    The emergency response system includes, but is not limited to, operations and technician level personnel, as well as local, state, and federal resources.

 XIII.   Procedures should include the process of achieving and maintaining control of the site and the perimeter.  This might include management of all civilian and non-emergency personnel and establishment of operational zones and site security.
