Course Description: | Offers basic skills and knowledge in using Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) laser cutting and engraving machines. Students use computer-based drawing programs to set up a vector-based drawing and properly output files to a laser machine. Students will explore cutting and marking various materials used in woodworking, modeling, prototyping, tooling, and signage. |
