 STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
 
  1. Make bowl gouge cuts for natural edge bowls.
  2. Use non-pressure cuts to produce long stem goblets.
  3. Use rasps and files to create spiral turnings.
  4. Explore the tools used to do hollowing on open and closed forms.
  5. Study the shapes of finials and how to cut them.
