STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Demonstrate various approaches to furniture design.
2. Create a list of design criteria.
3. Use criteria to begin initial sketches.
4. Modify initial sketches to create a different statement which meets the same criteria.
5. Build furniture models which represent sketches.
6. Modify initial furniture models in an effort to utilize correct proportion.
7. Incorporate the basics of ergonomics in furniture design
