STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Demonstrate safe and proper use of hand, power, and stationary tools.
2. Identify requirements necessary for proper joinery and construction as related to wood movement and general characteristics of the variety of wood species.
3. Identify various wood species and the proper finishing techniques.
4. Design a project based upon given criteria.
