 1. Identify and evaluate valvular disease on the sonographic image.
 2. Describe the effects of systemic disease on the heart and their sonographic findings.
 3. Identify structural pathology on the sonographic image.
 4. Describe the effects of functional disease on the heart and their sonographic findings.
 5. Describe the effects of ischemic disease and its effects on the heart sonographically.
 6. Identify common congenital anomalies that survive into adulthood.
