  Course Description:Course provides comprehensive dental hygiene clinical management techniques for periodontal patients supported by application of basic clinical research sciences. Focus is on the ¿therapy¿ component of periodontics including instructional sessions covering the general principles of periodontal surgery, the surgical management of soft tissues and osseous defects, wound healing, implants, and the role of occlusion in periodontal therapy.
