STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Identify specific root morphology that may require special instrumentation techniques.
II. State the advantages and disadvantages of advanced fulcruming techniques and demonstrate various advanced fulcruming techniques.
III. Utilize and demonstrate the correct technique for the use of periodontal files and sharpening, mini curettes, after five curettes, and the nabors probe.
IV. State the specific guidelines for instrumentation of dental implants and demonstrate appropriate instrumentation technique
