Course Description: | Continues Salsa I with an increased knowledge of Salsa dance. This course focuses on Salsa dancing in groups of couples with frequent partner exchanges. Dancers learn a more in-depth study of Salsa dance concepts and techniques. A partner is not required for this course. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Demonstrate proper alignment and dance positions.
II. Apply social dance floor etiquette.
III. Demonstrate proper hip motion, footwork and turns.
IV. Execute more advanced dance steps with different partners.
V. Respond to more advanced dance terminology.
VI. Perform dance combinations to specific rhythms of the music.
VII. Become more aware, comfortable and confident of his/her body movement.
VIII. Practice footwork with and without a partner.
IX. Demonstrate the ability to follow a routine and improvise.
