 STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
 
 I.      Acquire jazz dance terminology to include clenical ballet terms.
 II.     Acquire street dancing techniques as they are a form of hip hop dancing.
 III.    Continue to learn spatial concepts using dance sequences to include turns.
 IV.     Understand the difference between traditional jazz dance and hip hop dance.
 V.      Continue apply dance sequences to individual and group hip hop routines to include positions, locomotor movements, turns, walks.
