 STANDARD OBJECTIVES:
 
 I. Recognize the effect that crime has on victims and society as a whole.
 II. Explain how crime victims have been traditionally treated by the criminal justice system.
 III. Identify the current reforms that are occurring within the criminal justice system as it relates to crime victims.
 IV. Identify the emotional, financial and physical effects of victimization.
 V. List the community and governmental resources that are available for victims of crime.
