STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Through assigned readings, class participation, writing assignments, projects, dramatization, debates and examination, the student will be given the opportunity to:
A. Analyze the United States Constitution applying landmark decisions. (analysis level/academic-general-specific skill)
1. Discuss basic terms and concepts related to the fundamentals of Constitutional Law
2. Illustrate the application of the Separation of Powers Doctrine and the Bill of Rights from ratification to the present.
B. Critique the application of rights to criminal defendants as defined by the United States Constitution. (evaluation level/academic-general-specific skill)
II. **Standard: 100% of students will pass 100% of these competencies at 70%
