Course Description: | Develops more extensive knowledge of multimedia technology through creating web pages and designing an original web site using a web page software and creating desktop publishing documents using desktop publishing software. Emphasis includes advanced design and layout concepts integrating audio and graphic components to create business documents such as: websites, three-panel brochures, business cards, calendars, certificates, and other business documents recommended by IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals). |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Develop a storyboard for a web page.
II. Apply elements of web page design including home page, navigation bar, links, bookmarks, hover button, and scrolling marquee.
III. Create an original web page using software prevalent in the business world.
IV. Create desktop publishing documents
V. Integrate text and graphics when creating business correspondence, including a double-sided three-panel brochure, business cards, calendars, certificates.
VI. Apply principles of design and layout concepts to communicate a message effectively in the production of business correspondence.
VII. Produce business documents recommended by IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals).
