STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Type and correctly format legal documents, legal instruments and legal correspondence
II. Understand the legal procedures involved in preparing pleadings and the sequence in which they are submitted to the court.
III. Identify the terms and documents in the following judicial/legal fields: courts, litigation, contracts, torts, criminal Law, family law, business organizations, real estate, wills, and probate.
IV. Recognize and correctly spell legal terms used in legal instruments and court documents.
V. Proofread work carefully and accurately.
VI. Obtain employable level of skills in legal keyboarding, such as speed, accuracy, and production.

I. Formatting legal documents, legal instruments, and legal correspondence.
